Assessment Test

The Assessment Test consists of 5 sections:

Grammar Section

• Contains 100 multiple choice questions, which start at (The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, used by IELTS) CEFR A1 and become increasingly more difficult, finishing at CEFR C1

Listening Section

• Contains 12 multiple choice questions based on an audio recording has a 20-minute time limit that cannot be paused once commenced

Reading Section

• Contains between 9 and 12 multiple-choice questions based on a written text has a 20-minute time limit that cannot be paused once commenced

Writing Section

• Contains 1 question to which the candidate must provide a written response has a 15-minute time limit that cannot be paused once commenced

Speaking Section

• Contains 1 question to which the candidate must record a spoken response has a 5-minute time limit that cannot be paused once commenced (although the candidate can re-record their response within the 5-minute time limit)

A teacher will take the time to mark your test and provide you with written feedback. You will also receive a list of recommendations to reach your goal.
